Expanding the Field of View
Trapezoid Imaging is an imaging mode for expanding the field of view of ultrasound images, offering an improved overview and more diagnostic information in one image.
Clinical benefits:
- Improved visualization of superficial structures such as mammary gland or thyroid gland
- Improved visualization of the course of superficial blood vessels
- Facilitates examinations conducted through an intercostal space or the anterior fontanel with a narrow ultrasound window
- Minimized blind areas in biopsy procedures
