Through the use of a magnet that comprises multi windings a very wide scan field of 55 x 55 x 50 cm (X x Y x Z ) with a superb homogeneity is ensured.

The Vantage Titan comes with the Pianissimo gradient coil enclosure. This means that the gradient coils are mounted in vacuum chamber and therefore an acoustic noise reduction of over 90% compared with conventional techniques is achieved. This advanced technology greatly enhances patient comfort, improving the clinical performance for high resolution / high SNR whole body applications.

In order to improve the workflow the Vantage Titan is equiped with the Atlas coil concept that contains coils for the three basic acquisition area's: head, anterior and posterior body. These coils are designed in such a way that they can be seamless combined for cross boundary acquisitions.

Next to the fact that a larger bore can accommodate larger patients, it reduces the claustrophobic experience dramatically. This is not only caused by the enlargement of the bore diameter seen from the isocenter, but through the enlagement of the bore the position of the tabletop can be lowered as well. Through this effect the space for the patient is increased in two directions.
